Parting you thaught me...

To let go...
Foggy vision as I look behind
To know the value of friendhip...
but never to have the words to describe
to love and be loved
not to forget
like a paper boat to drift in the wind
to put our memories and things we shared
before the things we never had the chance to do
To freeze a person in all her best ways
and to remember her smiling.

Parting you thaught me that only Allah (C.C) can be one.

Parting you thaught me a lifetime is just a second
compared to an eternal friendship
thaught me to cry over an email
an inner muse rather than look forward as I gaze out of a window
the cities I lived
the houses I set,
the people I met anew
new foods I taste
all of them and more all making me homesick for the ones I left
a lump in my throat
knot by knot untangle if you can
What do you think parting you thaught me most?
It thaught me to know the difference between body and soul.
One travels far, bits and pieces of the other stays behind.

To my beloved friends I left behind and also to their friends who they are going to leave one day or another.
